Employment Mediators

Employment Mediators

A good employment Mediator gets fair treatment and creates an acceptable and workable resolution for both sides. They must be willing to take on the risks and challenges to improve the workplace dynamic when and if necessary.

Employment disputes in the workplace are one of the largest growing business, legal, and human resource areas within corporations and the government. Unlike most other mediation firms, we require extensive experience on both sides of the fence in order to effectively mediate employment cases. Our mediators must have been both business owners and employees to qualify as mediators to resolve  these business disputes. They have also must pass our rigorous extensive preparation and training with the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission of the United States government and to work in with both the public sector and private firms.

Alternative Law  works with mediators with degrees in their field and also with judges, lawyers, trainers, and investigators on a regular basis. We have been trained in resolving a wide range of workplace disputes involving employment relationships, discrimination, whistle-blowing, dispute prevention programs, evaluative, problem solving and transformative programs, departmental conflicts, employee relationships, benefits programs, hiring, firing, promotional, age, race, sex, discrimination, disability issues.

Our employment mediation program strives not only to assist in the resolution of existing disputes but also in designing prevention plans  to reduce the incidence of new disputes from arising in the future.
